About the work
Everything here — photos, words, design work, drawings — is created by me (Nicolas Mahlunge), sometimes with the help of an AI writing and editing tool. I call it Billie (because “ChatGPT” sounds horrible and looks yucky written). Billie acts like my editor — a filter for my neurodiverse brain and dyslexia — not a co-author.
The stories featured are told from the perspective of the storyteller, unless clearly noted otherwise. All storytellers have given permission for their stories to be shared. Recordings, transcripts and materials are kept safely and can be made available to the storyteller on request. The same applies to anyone else, but only with the storyteller’s permission.
